We use your health information only to provide your nutrition care. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
4. Your consent
By submitting a form, booking a consultation or sharing your health information with us, you consent to us using it for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing or messaging us (see section 11). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we may not be able to continue your programme without the information we need to provide safe guidance.
5. Client transformations and testimonials
We publish a client’s before-and-after photos, results or testimonial on our website or social media only with that client’s permission. 6. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where needed to run our services, with:
- Service providers who host or support our website, email and communication: website and email hosting (Hostinger), spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), website analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity), maps (Google Maps) and messaging (WhatsApp). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
- Your doctor or other healthcare professionals, only if you ask us to.
- Authorities, where the law requires us to.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where this happens, it is done as permitted under Indian law.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to protect our forms from spam, and to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may record pages visited, clicks and scrolling in an aggregated form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, although some features may not.
8. How we protect your data
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, password-protected accounts and access limited to the SmartBite team members who need it to provide your care. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will inform you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires.
9. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client health records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards for continuity of care, our records and legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
